Pins and Plug Gages

Class ZZ or Z gages in both Steel and Black Oxide. The Class ZZ gage pins are stocked in both the Plus and Minus direction of tolerance in .001" increments. Black oxide treatment typically penetrates .000040" - .000060" deep, which will visually reveal wear patterns allowing the inspector to calibrate or replace gage pins more effectively. Black oxide treatment will help prevent rust and corrosion, which will extend the useful life of the gage.
